Where does the Quicktrace information come from?
The primary source of the information in our databases is based upon Electoral Roll returns, quarterly supplemented and updated. Our information is as up to date as is currently possible, obtained via a subscription service, and as such is not normally publicly available.
How and when will I receive my Quicktrace Search results?
We will normally send you the results of your search by e-mail within 3 business days following your request and credit card payment. Our office hours are Monday-Friday, 9.00am - 6.00pm.
If you have not received your results within 5 business days, there is a good chance that your reply e-mail has "bounced back" - please do ensure that you enter your own e-mail address correctly, since otherwise we cannot respond until you contact us again!
What if my Quicktrace Search is not successful?
Occasionally a search may return no matching addresses for the person that you are seeking. There are various reasons why this may occur - see Who We Cannot Find - but even in itself this is relevant information. Obviously if your "missing" is not registered at a UK address then positive location is going to prove difficult and we recommend requesting a no obligation quote from our sponsor, Peopletracer

How secure is the credit card payment process?
The entire payment process takes place on the secure credit card server owned by Worldpay, one of the Internationally recognised world leaders in on-line payment processing. Your encrypted card details never leave the secure payment environment - only Worldpay and the authorised credit card clearance centre are entrusted with those details.
At no time does any other party - even us here at Quicktrace - have any access to your confidential credit card details. This system is considerably more secure than using your card to make a purchase by telephone.
What International currencies may be used for payment?
All major currencies are acceptable. Currency conversion will be undertaken at the time of the payment transaction - your card account will be debited by your local currency equivalent of £25 pounds sterling at that time.
Do I have to have a credit card to use Quicktrace?
If you do not have - or prefer not to use - a credit card, we are pleased to accept postal Search Requests if it's more convenient for you. Postal Searches

The Quicktrace service is operated in conjunction with Peopletracer, the UKs leading missing person location agency.
Peopletracer is an established company and as such meet the necessary criteria for authorised credit card payment acceptance by Worldpay, the world-leading on-line credit card processing company.
Peopletracer are also registered under the Data Protection Act as a legitimate and responsible user of personal data.
Unlike some tracing agencies, we do not hide behind just a "could be anywhere" e-mail address. We do actually exist in the real world, not just in cyberspace!
