WHO CANNOT BE FOUND?

There are certain categories of people who are not registered on the UK voters roll, and these people cannot be traced using the normal Quicktrace service.

Recently Moved

Although our database software is as up to date as possible - updates arrive on a quarterly basis - there is inevitably a delay between a person moving house and the various new address registrations becoming available. In practice, it can mean that persons who have moved within the last 12 months remain registered at the previous address.

If you know that that the person you seek has moved address within the past 12 months, please do not use our service to attempt to locate the new address, you are likely to be disappointed. In such cases, please contact our sponsors Peopletracer directly - tell them the known previous address and they will quote for a more in-depth search.

Itinerants

Persons, particularly young people, who have left home in difficult circumstances often "drop out" of normal society and do not settle down to a permanent address for some time. Quicktrace is unable to locate such persons.

Persons that are likely to have changed their name

Generally speaking, children that were adopted many years ago are likely to have different names than those given at birth, and a search using the birth name is unlikely to produce the result you are seeking.

If you search for a female using her maiden name and she has subsequently changed her name by marriage, you may be fortunate and obtain the address of her original family.

NO RESULTS?

We are unable to offer a refund in the circumstances that you have requested a search for a person who is not registered at any UK address - we have, after all, undertaken a comprehensive UK search on your behalf.

It is worth noting that the absence of an official UK address registration does not necessarily mean that the person you are seeking is not living within the UK. Despite the fact that it is a legal requirement for most people to register their UK address, for various reasons - including those listed above - around 3-4% of the UK population are not officially registered as living anywhere.....!

From time to time, it may also occur that any contact or correspondence with suggested addresses are met with a negative response simply because the person you are seeking does not wish to establish contact with you for whatever reason.
